With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eileen Brown of Marengo, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 4, 2025 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake Peterman and Opal Peterman (Wiles); her husband Walter E. Brown; her stepson Gary Brown; and her siblings, Frank Peterman, Betty Bishop, Bobby and Jacob Peterman.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Oliver of Marion and Douglas Edwards (Sharon) of Cardington; her stepchildren, Ronald Brown (Ruthy) of Cardington and Melinda Brown of Whitehall; her grandchildren, Jake, Kyle Edwards, Tracy, Trevor Oliver, Courtney Myers, Adrianne Brown, Rodney, Jodi, Shelby and Kasey Brown; and her siblings, Kenny Peterman, Jimmy Peterman, Mary Wygle, Nancy Neason, Leona Miller, Patty Lewis and Carol Edgell. She is also survived by sixteen great- grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Gompf Funeral Home (440 Center St, Cardington, OH 43315). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
