He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph R. Sliger and Evelyn F. Sliger (Giltner); and his siblings, Ester Keifer and Frank Sliger. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean (Chambers); his sons, Bart Sliger (Susan) of Marion, Craig Sliger (Cindy) of Marengo and Rick Sliger (Melissa) of Lewis Center; his grandchildren, Kristin Sliger (Mike Plymale), Nicholas Sliger (Rachel), Zachery Sliger and Michelle Edmiston (Evan); his great grandchild Taylor Barton; his sister Roselma Goins; and his pet Max. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
