We announce the death of Velma E. Mescher of Maria Stein, Ohio, who passed away on July 3, 2026, at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Bowman and Mary Bowman (Osterloh); her husband Robert Mescher (Bud); her sisters, Rita Buening and Evelyn Eilerman; and her son-in-law Joseph Doenges.
She is survived by: her children, Dale (Roberta Mescher), Gary (Susan Mescher), Judith Mescher, Sharon Doenges and Glenn (Debra Mescher); and her siblings, Luella Prenger, Norman Bohman, Dorothy Barlage and Joan Wuebker. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.
