He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Douglas and Mary Elizabeth Bostaph Douglas; and his siblings, Joanne Farley, James, John and Larry Douglas.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Douglas; his children, Christopher, Jeffrey, Daniel Douglas and Jennifer Medley (Scott); his stepdaughter Virginia Taylor (Billy); his grandchildren, Matthew, Christin, Chloe, Nakia, Gage, Hunter, Hope, Crosby, Luke and Elizabeth; and his siblings, Gary, Raymond Douglas (Peggy), Mary Antill, Peggy Adams (Bob), Dorothy Barth and Betty Neader (Andy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Newport Fire Department, 38350 State Route 7, Newport, OH, in Carl's memory.
