He was predeceased by: his brother Matthew L. Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Wilbanks of Marietta; his children, Darren Allen of Athens and Alaina Kelly (Daniel Haught) of Chillicothe; his grandchildren, Callum Odell, Owen Decker and Isla Mae Haught of Chillicothe; his sisters, Teresa Eddy (Kenneth), Ann Simmons and Mary Lisa Walker of Marietta; and his sisters-in-law, Elise Wilbanks of South Carolina, Anita Quigley (Bryan DeWall) and Kris Simmons of Marietta. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home (408 Front St, Marietta, OH 45750). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
