Constance Rae (Connie) Cartmell Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on May 5, 2026, at the age of 83, Constance Rae (Connie) Cartmell of Marietta, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eleanor Whitmore (Gecsey) and Robert Whitmore; her brother David Whitmore; and her grandson Aaron Reed. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Ohlen P. Cartmell; her children, Ohlen C. Cartmell (Megin Reed), Jason Cartmell (Kate Pressel), Christina Tindall (Kevin Tindall) and Dr. Allison Cartmell Emmerson (Nathaniel Emmerson); her grandchildren, Zachary Reed, Corina Reed, Isaac Reed, Gracie Cartmell, Jack Tindall, Darby Cartmell, Finn Tindall and Stephanie Reed; her brother Robert "Brooks" Whitmore (Jennifer Whitmore); and her aunt Pat Dean (Whitmore). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation in honor of Aaron Reed.
