He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Jane Gavin and Daniel B. Cawley II; his daughters, Kelli, Danielle and Cortney; his grandchildren, Gavin, Abbie, Maxwell and Rex; his sons-in-law, Gene Hollins, Doug Hodge and Eric Beymer; and his sisters, Janie Wittekind and Betsy Thrift (Barry). He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews, and friends.
A Mass will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Basilica of St Mary of the Assumption (506 4th St, Marietta, OH 45750). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Marietta Country Club.
