He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Maxon (Smith) and Thomas Maxon; his son Donald Maxon, Jr. (D. J.); his in-laws, Kenneth and Frances Carver; and his siblings, Dennis, Dale Maxon and Deborah Alphin.
He is survived by: his brothers-in-law, Dave Drennen, Dave Koon and Steve Yoho; his wife Kathy Maxon (Carver); his children, Dustin (Kate) and Darcie Dye (Bruce); his grandchildren, Mollie, Megan, Ethan, Asher, Owen, Ella Maxon and Maxon Dye; and his siblings, Dean Maxon and Denise Maxon-Traxler (Mike). He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be sent to Evergreen Bible Church Deacon Benevolence Fund, 118 W. Ninth Street, Williamstown, WV 26187.
