With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eddie Ray Emerick of Marietta, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 25, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Emerick and Joan Berry Emerick; his son Daniel Sarver; and his brothers, Russ and John Emerick of Marietta.
He is survived by: the mother of his children Rhonda Sarver of Marietta; his children, Erica Buskirk (J. R.) of Kansas, Jeremy Emerick (Nancy) of Belpre and Brian Emerick of Marietta; his grandchildren, Kaylee, Jeremy, Courtney, Connor and Liam; and his siblings, Dave of Marietta, Randy of Marietta and Jo Ellen Emerick of Marietta.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home (314 4th St, Marietta, OH 45750). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at the East Lawn Memorial Park (27880 OH-7, Marietta, OH 45750).
