He was predeceased by : his parents, Patsy Dettorre and Leona Paoloemelio Dettorre; and his siblings, George Dettorre, Julius Dettorre and Eleanor Keenan.

He is survived by : his wife Josephine; his son Michael Dettorre (Christine); his grandchildren, Micha Anthony (Greg) and Seth Dettorre (Noell); his great grandchildren, Trent, Colin Anthony, Liam and Ellie Dettorre; and his siblings, Alfred Dettorre, Anna Rose Luparello and Janet "Ginger" Truax. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
