It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen C. Gilde of Marietta, Ohio, born in Laureldale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 10, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Hans-Georg Gilde; her parents, William R. Schoener and Helen M. Schoener; and her siblings, Jane K. Goodwin and Robert W. Schoener.

She is survived by : her daughters, Emily Gilde (James Pletcher) and Ellen Schwendeman (James); and her family Helen. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
