She was predeceased by : her parents, Merle L. Heslop and Jessie I. Cronin Heslop; her husband Earl F. Gutberlet; her daughter Deborah Huffman; and her siblings, Ralph Heslop and Karen Wagner.

She is survived by : her sons, Merle Gutberlet (Lori) of Columbus, Earl Gutberlet (Linda) of Spartansburg, PA and Michael "Mick" Gutberlet (Cheryl) of Greer, SC. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
