It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Lynn Watson Sr. (Marietta, Ohio), born in Martins Ferry, Ohio, who passed away on July 12, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Burl Watson and Sarah Fletcher-Watson; his brothers, Dennis Watson and Ernie Watson; and his grandson Joshua Watson.

He is survived by: his wife Carla J. Watson; his children, Bobbi Watson, Angela Watson-Beal and Jerry Watson, Jr.; his grandchildren, Jessica, Richard, Zachary, Andrew, Clover and Sam; his great grandchild Alice Jo; and his brothers, Howard and Dale Watson.

Even through retirement he continued to work two more years, three days a week, until the corona virus caused a global shutdown.
