It is with sadness that the passing of Kathleen Sue Schneider of Marietta, Ohio is shared. Kathleen, born on February 16, 1960, passed away on October 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill VanWey and Diane Britton VanWey; her siblings, Brian VanWey and Cheryl VanWey; her mother-in-law Shelba Kern; and her niece Danielle VanWey.
She is survived by: her husband Frank Schneider, II; her children, Amy Schneider of Marietta and Aaron Schneider of Marietta; her grandchildren, Tyler Schneider of Marietta, Alexander Schneider of Marietta and Brandi Savage of Marietta; and her siblings, Tammy Shuman, Lisa Lemley and Billy VanWey. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McClure Schafer Lankford Funeral Home (314 4th St, Marietta, OH 45750). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at the Gravel Bank Cemetery.
