He is survived by: his brother Ken; his children, Kenneth Saxton Jr. (Catherine) of Circleville, James Saxton Sr. of Fort Pierce, Florida and Patricia Banbury (Chris) of Gambier, Ohio; his grandchildren, Nathan Ihrig, Shawn Benton, Michelle Saxton, Matthew Ihrig, Willow Luccia and Logan Saxton; his great grandchildren, Mitchell White, Everett Ihrig and Lily Ihrig; and his siblings, Keith Saxton (Mary), Mike Saxton (Bonnie) and Betty Flora (Kenny).
