She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Gail and Phena Jane Nalley Piatt; her grandchildren, Jammie and Tony Hart; her brothers, Charles, Herber, Harry, Forest, Lester, Ray, Carl and Clarence Piatt; and her siblings-in-law, Mervin, Imogene and Maxine Piatt.

She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn Hart (Jimmie); her grandchildren, Mark Hart and Karla Higgins (Mike); her great grandchildren, Dalton and Austin Higgins; her sister Ruth Lisk; and her sisters-in-law, Annie and Anna Lee Piatt. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
