She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Herman and Mamie Boggess Smith; her husband Leon Roger Edwards; her siblings, Norman Smith, Orion Smith, Denver Smith, Junior Smith and Lorraine Smith; and her extended family Birdie Kroll.

She is survived by : her sons, Michael Duane Edwards and Roger Dale Edwards (Julie); her daughter-in-law Judy Edwards; her grandchildren, Ian Shaine Edwards, Emily Turner (Owen) and Jarrod Daniel Edwards (Alisha); her great grandchildren, Rylee Denae Edwards, Revel James Leon Turner and Maddix Elias Turner; her sister-in-law Edna Smith; her niece Karen Ray; her nephew Tim Smith; and her extended family, Rick, Diana Kroll, Rex Marshall "Buggz" Kroll, Beth Marshall, Lorraine Howell, Tom Gocso, Brenda Robinson, Melissa and Rebecca Taylor.
