She was predeceased by: her parents, James Cozzens and Grace Cozzens (Fleming); her husband George "Buddy" Dalton Sr.; her siblings, Sue Owens, Janet Goddard, Ruth Goode and Richard Ganson; her son-in-law Marty Welch; and her stepmother Anna Marie Cozzens.

She is survived by: her children, Monica McPherson (Scott) of Marietta, Tina Barnes (Tyler) of Veto and George Dalton, Jr. (Michelle) of Newport. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
