Philip’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Shiflett; his son Matthew Clawson (Marilyn); his siblings, Carl Shiflett and Elisabeth Gerken (Rick); his mother Ann Epstein; and his uncle Dave. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Neelysville Church of Christ (3486 E. St. Rt. 60, McConnelsville, Ohio 43756).
