He was predeceased by: his parents, Lemmuel J. Joyce and Clema Qualls Joyce; his daughters, Joanne Zuhars Joyce and Cheryl Engle; and his siblings, Elwin, William, Joseph, Charles Joyce and Mary Ellen Via.
He is survived by: his wife Dottie Chase Joyce; his children, Jenny Knellinger (Dave) of Colorado Springs, CO and Patrick Joyce (Diane) of Belpre, OH; his grandsons, Benjamin Knellinger, Nicolas Knellinger, Jacob Ridgway, Skylar Ridgway, Seth Joyce and Reed Joyce; his stepchildren, Michael Chase and Nichole Raynor (Jimmy); and his stepgrandchildren, Madison Raynor and James Raynor. He is also survived by his six great-grandchildren.
