We announce the death of Robert Allan Sadler of Marietta, Ohio, who passed away on September 25, 2026, at the age of 72. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sadler and Eloise Sadler; his former wife Sharlene Owens Sadler; his siblings, Samuel Christian Sadler and Sandra Jacobsson; his siblings-in-law, Darlene Roberts and William Jacobsson; and his father-in-law Paul Hunter.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Sadler (Hunter); his siblings-in-law, Richard Hunter (Donna) and Tona Heft (Roger); and his nieces and nephews, Joshua Sadler, Matthew Sadler, Timothy Jacobsson (Megan), Peter Jacobsson, Michael Hunter (Lauren), Steven Hunter (Sarah), William Heft (Katie), Nathan Heft, Sarah Jacobsson-Purewall (Ron) and Hannah Tiell (Ray).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Leavitt Funeral Home (801 Victor St, Belpre, OH 45714). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church building fund or Child Evangelism Fellowship of the Little Kanawha Valley.
