He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Sammons and Mattie Williams Sammons; and his sister Glenda Sargeant. He is survived by: his children, Tama Sammons, Joy Farley (Shane), Sharown Kidd (Davon), Aaron Sammons (Lia) and James Sammons (Victoria); his grandchildren, Jazmyn, Leeauna, Ella, Evangeline, Gracelyn, Kaylee, Anthony, Adrian, Khai, Ryan, Nehemiah, Noah, Malachi, Jackson and Mason; his siblings, Donna Selph, Sherry Couch (Randy) and Roger Sammons (Teri); his brother-in-law Charles Sargeant; and his friend Rebecca Loeber.
