It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Smith (Marietta, Ohio), born in Sycamore Valley, Ohio, who passed away on May 25, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sister Wavalea Dillon (Robert); his brother-in-law Warren Cline; and his nephew David Dillon. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Christy Smith; his children, Scott Smith (Christy) of Mineral Wells, Christopher Smith of Knoxville and Deanna Hilliard of Marietta, Ohio; his grandchildren, Brenden Smith, Haylee Smith, Gavin Hilliard and Anthony Hilliard; and his sister Wilma Cline of Marietta, Ohio.

Abiding with the State of Ohio recommendations for social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic, a private visitation will be held for family only at Watters Funeral Home, Woodsfield, Ohio on Thursday, May 28, 2020 with graveside services to follow at 4:00 p. m. at the Creighton Ridge Cemetery, Sycamore Valley, Ohio with Roger Rush officiating.
