Roger L. Loughry Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on February 18, 2025, at the age of 79, Roger L. Loughry of Marietta, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Loughry and Velma Loughry (Miller); his son Roger "Bud" Loughry, Jr.; and his former wife Barbara Loughry (Wolford). He is survived by: his wife Frances Loughry (Meredith); his grandsons, Jacob and Samuel Loughry of Washington, WV; his daughter-in-law Shari Loughry of Washington; his siblings, Donald Loughry (Sharon) of Franklin, WV and Linda Plaugher (Eldon) of Parsons, WV; and his stepchildren, Michael Hooper (Cheryl) and Melissa Stover. He is also survived by five step grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made in his honor to American Legion Post 15.
