He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Sr. Lang and Ruth Thieman Lang; his siblings, Carl Jr., Cecil Lang and Sue Newlon; and his nephew Gene Newlon.
He is survived by: his wife Monica Brooker Lang; his children, Kyle Lang (Madesta) and Stacie Heiss (Bryan); his grandchildren, Chad (Macy), Blake, Madelynn Lang, Harper, Ali, Dreyden and Tanner Heiss; his great grandchild Ryker Lang; and his sister Marian Thrasher. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cawley & Peoples Funeral Home - Marietta (408 Front St, Marietta, OH 45750). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (17784 OH-676, Marietta, OH 45750). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery (17784 OH-676, Marietta, OH 45750).
