She was predeceased by: her husband John Parsons; her parents, John Schau and Helen Schau; and her siblings, Linda Hills, Gary Schau and Dale Schau.
She is survived by: her brother Paul Schau of Marietta, Ohio; her sons, John W. Parsons of Baltimore, Ohio, Scott Parsons (Sherry) of Marietta, Ohio and Jeff Parsons (Jennifer) of Marietta, Ohio; her grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Austin, Brooklyn, Brayden, Cory and Casey; and her great grandchildren, Carson, Kaiser, Gabby, Aiden, Cade, Cooper, Colton and Lilah.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home (314 4th St, Marietta, OH 45750). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at the Gravel Bank Cemetery.
