He is survived by: his wife Karen Johnson; his daughter Julie Bates of Marietta; his stepchildren, Jimmy Brookover of Lowell and Jill Brookover of Lowell; his grandchildren, Tayshawn (Hippie), Madison (Christopher) and Alexander (Morgan); and his siblings, David Johnson of Jackson Hole, WY, Patricia Carpenter (Don) of Marietta and Peggy Ferrebee of Marietta. He is also survived by several other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
