He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Arthur and Grace Goodrich Hurte; his wife Cora Lee Hurte; and his siblings, Robert, Chester, Pearl Swoger, Cassie Hatfield, Viginia Hammons and Phyllis Stevens.
He is survived by: his sons, William Hurte (Vicki) of Marietta Ohio and Anthony Hurte (Bertha) of New Matamoras Ohio; his grandchildren, Jessica Newhart (Ryan), Ben Hurte (Amanda) and Andrew Hurte; his great grandchildren, Adalyn, Ava, Claire, Everly Newhart and Cora L. Hurte; and his sister Marianne Hurte. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for friends to make a donation to a charity of their choice.
