He is survived by: his wife Shirely McGinnis; his sons, Dean of Marion, Ohio., Marlon of Marion, Ohio. and Brian McGinniss (Kari) of Marion, Ohio.; his siblings, Denver Freeman, Delbert Freeman and Robin Knipp; and his grandchildren, Nathan McGinniss, Corey McGinniss, Rayne McCallen (Drake), Storm McGinniss (Caitlynn), Dustin McGinniss, Noah McGinniss, Elijah McGinniss and Kenton Redmond. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
