He was predeceased by: his parents, Sperry John Denton and Bertha May Denton (Brenizer); his significant other Lois Jean Dill; his siblings, Ernest Denton (Wilma), Carl Denton (Alberta), Herman Denton (Helen), Erma Burt (Charles), Lowell Denton (Eunice) and Eleanor Heiser (James); and his grandsons, Timothy Denton and Thomas Denton.
He is survived by: his children, Marcia Cramer (Ron) of Marion, Larry Denton (L. Kay) of Dallas, Texas and John Denton (Mari) of Dallas, Texas; his grandchildren, Dianna Paxton (Cramer), Douglas Cramer, Jill Patton (Denton), Eric Denton, Alex Denton and Allison Montemayor; and his great grandchildren, Gregory Paxton, Bradley Paxton, Caelyn Cramer, Elise Cramer, Jacob Patton, Josh Patton, Lillianna Saenz, Paisley Denton and Astraea Denton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Denzer Chapel (360 E Center St, Marion, OH 43302). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
