He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Zimmerman and Vienna Zimmerman (Wright); his brother Tom Zimmerman (Susan); and his sister-in-law Marilyn Cashen. He is survived by: his children, Betsy Zimmerman (Kevin McCarthy) of Dublin and Doug Zimmerman (Deborah) of Liberty Twp; his grandchildren, Veronica Ornella (Eric) and Mason Zimmerman (Emily); and his great grandchildren, Sullivan Chartian, Eleanor Chartian, Josephine Ornella and Keller Zimmerman.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home (201 S Franklin St, Richwood, OH 43344). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Green Camp United Methodist Church. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Spencerville Cemetery (13080 Kolter Rd, Spencerville, OH 45887).
