He was predeceased by: his siblings, Alene Hunley, Eugene Borders, Cecil Borders, Christine Conley, Edwin Borders and Rhoda Prater.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Lyons (Greg) of Marion and Marsha Hammond (Joel) of Marengo; his grandchildren, Austin Taylor, Shay Nicole (Stamford) and Dylan Coy; and his sister Lorene Ratliff (Ronnie).
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Marion First Freewill Baptist Church (1449 Crissinger Rd, Marion, OH 43302). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at the Caledonia Cemetery (6351 Harding Hwy E, Caledonia, OH 43314).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Marion Cancer Center, 1000 McKinley Park Dr, Marion.
