He was predeceased by: his mother Patricia Markus; and his stepson Paul McKenzie. He is survived by: his wife Connie Markus; his children, David Jr., Trisha, Alicia (Johnny), Angie, Sabrina (Mike) and Nickell (Tim); his father John Markus; and his siblings, JoAnne Ruhter (Randy), John (Sharee), Jeffrey (Tonya) and Shawn (Tina). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in his name to the Marion Area Humane Society, 2264 Richland Rd, Marion, OH 43302.
