He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl E. Getter Sr. and LaVonne R. Getter (Hultgruen); his siblings, Mary Jo, Esther, Bruce, Karl, Lisa Marie and Cocker Spaniels; and his children, Sassy (Sassy), Sadie (Tater Tot), Sandy (Chunky Poo) and Suzy (Cow).
He is survived by: his wife Sheilah (Stevens); his children, Kiel Getter of Galion, Marketa Getter of Marion and Jessica Getter of Marion; his grandchildren, Nathaniel, Destiny, Johnnie, Annalese, Anastasia, Damion and Bre Bre; and his siblings, Roger Getter (Laurie) of Winston-Salem, NC. and Rita Getter of Mount Gilead.
