She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Skaggs and Wilodene Moore; her significant other Jack Byrd Sr.; and her son Charles Cole (Rebecca). She is survived by: her children, Jack E. Byrd Jr. (Cherie) and Lalita S. Cole (Markus Bovillion); her boyfriend Paul Turner; her siblings, Pat Skaggs, Roy Skaggs and Sue Herman; and her great great grandchildren, Alyce Mayse and Adam Mayse. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in Eda's honor.
