He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Wilds and Hazel Pierce; his son James Wilds; his son-in-law Robert "Bob" Temple; and his siblings, Anna Wilds Gompf, Marshall Wilds, Lucille Simmers Gregory, Bill Simmers and Raymond Underwood.
He is survived by: his significant other Iola "Olie" Collins; his children, Greg Wilds and Deborah Temple; and his grandchildren, Janette Wilds (Brian Leach), Nicole Wilds, Casey Temple Green, Kristen Temple (Jason Taylor), Chelsea Temple (Joseph Byrd), Kinsey Temple Irwin, Jacklyn Wilds and Lucy Wilds-Currie. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Calvary Bible Baptist Church.
