He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Hay and Betty McGowan. He is survived by: his children, Donald Gene Hay (Tammy), Tammy Cassidy and Mindy Hay (Adam); his stepson Jimmy Buttrey (Christine); his siblings, Jordan Gibson (Jerrica), Dezaray Hay (Kendric) and Garrett Hay (Reba); his grandchildren, Bethany Collier (Chris), Brittany Gibson (Matthew), Brandon Huck (Alyssa), Ashley Barber (Colton), Kevin Wheeler and Nicki Gushard (Andrew); his great grandchildren, Dylan, Zach Collier, Hudson Ireland, Hazel, Dawson Pyles, Rori Hay, Scarlett, Rylan, Maverick Huck, Austia Diaz, Mikie, Tate, Liam, Emma, Andrew, Allison and Alex Buttrey; and his stepgreat-grandson Camden Hackett.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Boyd Funeral Home (122 W Columbia St, Marion, OH 43302). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Marion Cemetery (620 Delaware Ave, Marion, OH 43302).
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made out to St. Jude's Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
