Frances M. Wingo Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 9, 2026, at the age of 98, Frances M. Wingo of Marion, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Frances may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Frederick Pollock and Lucille Dorothy Holladay (Huffman); her husband Dallas Eugene Wingo; and her sons, Gary and Larry Saunders.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Reece and Sandra Fox; and her sister Hazel Aldrich. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Gunder Hall Chapel (347 W Center St, Marion, OH 43302). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
