He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Teel and Moina Teel (Danford); his former wife Alverta Teel; and his sister Charlotte Secrest. He is survived by: his wife Grace Teel; his children, Darlene Sarkisian (Ned), Dale Teel and Roger Teel (Jill); his grandchildren, Aimee Teel-Mercer (Dustin), Katherine Sarkisian-Hiser (Jaryd) and Andrew Sarkisian (Sonia); and his great grandchildren, Xavier Mercer, Lily Sarkisian-Hiser and Emma Sarkisian.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Gunder Hall Chapel (347 W Center St, Marion, OH 43302). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
