He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Trafzer and Phyllis Trafzer; and his wife Charley. He is survived by: his children, Ben Trafzer (Serena), Sara Trafzer (late Michael Blank) and Conan Lane (Kristen); his grandchildren, Garrett Trafzer (Paige), Dillon Trafzer and Carson Trafzer; his great grandchildren, Emma and Abigail Trafzer; and his sisters, Judy Detwiler (Roger), Joanne Smith (late Brad Smith), Jerri New (Richard), Jackie Caillouette (Dennis), Janice Smith (Bill) and Jennifer Stinson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Denzer Chapel (360 E Center St, Marion, OH 43302). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jim's honor to Tranquility Hospice or the Salvation Army in care of the Snyder Funeral Home.
