He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick N. Throckmorton and Zelma Throckmorton (Heller); and his siblings, Mark Throckmorton, Wayne Throckmorton, Ruth Andrews and Pam Hedges.

He is survived by: his son Nick Throckmorton; his sister Rea Colby; and his grandchildren, Lily and Leland.
