She was predeceased by : her parents, Calvin Woolum and Georgiana Woolum (Abrams); her husband Donald Redmon; her son Donald Redmon; and her siblings, Larry and Hilda Woolum.

She is survived by : her children, Kathy Rutter (John) of Marion, Rick Redmon (Heather) of La Rue and Paul Redmon (Christina) of Marion; her grandchildren, Keith Whitted (Tracy), Angel Franklin (Jeremiah), Amy Whitted, Destiny Redmon, April Douglas, Donnie Redmond, Mallory Redmon, Ricki Redmon (Nick), Brandon Spears and Tristan Spears; and her brother Jerry Woolum (Robin) of Marion.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Gunder Hall Chapel (347 W Center St, Marion, OH 43302). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Grand Prairie Cemetery (4964 Brush Ridge Dr N, Marion, OH 43302).

Donations may be made in Joanne's honor to The Marion Area Humane Society or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
