John Chipps Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Chipps in Marion, Ohio, who passed away on November 16, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley and Pauline Elizabeth Chipps (Kemp); and his sister Jodi (Julie Chipps). He is survived by: his wife Emma Chipps of Chesterville; his children, Tina Coyan, Jessi (Lenny Thompson) of High Point, NC and Nicole Beal (Dan) of Mount Gilead; his grandchildren, Danielle (Jared), Justin, Colton, Clayton (Adrianna), Jessica (Josh), Lauren (Tim), Kayla, Lexi, Alisha and Emmi; his sister Charlotte Chipps (Jerry Miser) of Sparta; and his nephew Darren Richards (Liz). He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the North Woodbury Alliance Church (6385 OH-314, Mt Gilead, OH 43338). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
