He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Edward Harper and Florence Josephine Harper (Stiffler); his wife Paula Harper (Stein); his sons, Joseph Allen Harper, Robert David Harper and Adam Lee Harper; and his siblings, Chuck, Jim, Ruth Hylton, Sis Preest and Mary.
He is survived by: his daughter Kristinna Stephens (Berlin) of Marion; and his grandchildren, Josephine "Missy" Harper, Crystal Dawn Harper, Adam Acord, Rochelle McCollum, Joseph "Buddy" Harper, Kevin Stephens, Seth Acord and Savannah Stephens. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
