He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl W. Hamilton and Thelma Mae Hamilton (Munson); and his brothers, Paul Matthews and Roy W. Hamilton. He is survived by: his wife Marti Hamilton; his sons, Jason Hamilton (Ashley) and Nathan Hamilton (Julie); his stepdaughter Kim Collins (Matt); and his grandchildren, Ellie Gormsen (Dylan), Gabe Hamilton (Mary), Luke Hamilton (Sabrina), Hailee Griffaw (Charles) and Hannah Daily. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Denzer Chapel (360 E Center St, Marion, OH 43302). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Knights of Columbus Hall (1232 E Center St, Marion, OH 43302).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice or Friends of the Marion County Ohio Dog Shelter.
