In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Marilyn leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Marilyn may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dwight Murphey and Shirley Stobart Murphey; her husband Teddy Shifflet; and her son Harold Mike Corwin II. She is survived by: her children, Victor Corwin of Marion and Cindy Kessler of Marion; and her brothers, Dwight Greory Murphey of Wimber Penn and Steve Murphey of Pennsville. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Murphey Family Cemetery.
