She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Wright and Thelma Irene Keis (Stewart); her grandparents, Harrison Norman, Gertrude Elizabeth Stewart (Armstrong), Earl Charles and Mary Elizabeth Wright; her brothers, Bud and Gary Wright; and her great grandchild Candase.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Allen Shifflett; her children, Leonard, Richard, Kevin (Krista), Timothy Oliver (Jodie) and Kimberly Sargent (Scott); her brother Paul Wright (Linda); and her grandchildren, Doug, Matt, Adam, Crystal, Michelle of Kaci, TJ, Danielle, Megan, Trisha, Jay and Daniel. She is also survived by great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. (Her nieces.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Boyd Funeral Home (122 W Columbia St, Marion, OH 43302). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Chapel Heights Memorial Garden (2622 Marion-Upper Sandusky Rd, Marion, OH 43302).
In lieu of Flowers her family has asked that donations be made to the American Macular Degeneration Foundation (AMDF) in Marilyn's honor.
