It is with sadness that the passing of Mary Ellen Swartz of Marion, Ohio is shared. Mary Ellen, born on September 25, 1940, passed away on September 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elward Butts and Freida Butts; and her siblings, Charles and Adalin. She is survived by: her children, Rex Swartz (Vickie), Christy (Todd) and LeAnn Schwartz (Corey); and her great grandchildren, Liam, Kiera Schwartz, Ella, Hazel Grauel and Maya Swartz. She is also survived by her husband and children are her grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Bringman-Clark Funeral Home (226 E Wyandot Ave, Upper Sandusky, OH 43351).
