He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Henry and Elizabeth Moore (Trowbridge); his wife Marguerite "Lila" Gilbert; and his siblings, James, Dee and Kay.
He is survived by: his children, Guy Raymond Gilbert and Shawnna Sue Jordan (Doc); his granddaughters, Summer Rose, Samantha Marie and Sara Beth; his great grandchild Lizzie; and his brother Jay Gilbert. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Gunder Hall Chapel (347 W Center St, Marion, OH 43302). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Marion Cemetery (620 Delaware Ave, Marion, OH 43302).
