She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Lewis and Violet Saunders (Gilbert); and her siblings, Gary R. Lewis and Janice N. Bush (Lewis). She is survived by: her close friend Robert Gist of Marion; her children, Tony Hendrickson (Betty) of Kettering, Jana Kerswell (James) of Kaslo and Steven Fry (Cara) of Ontario; her grandchildren, Colton Wetzel of Bellefontaine, Destiny Miller of Bucyrus, Jared Wetzel of Edmonton, Toni Matthews of Columbus, Katie Jones of Columbus and Chloe Haynes of Edmonton, Canada.; her great-aunt Betty Bivens; and her cousin Terry Bivens of Mansfield. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to the Marion County Humane Society - a place where Rita loved to volunteer and rescue her best friends to-be.
